This cache is hidden in a friendly alley that runs from Emeryville into Oakland and is on the Oakland side.
Scouting for a good place for our 25th cache we discovered this pleasant neighborhood alley behind Ocean Avenue. Peabody Lane starts at the residential edge of Emeryville, separates a couple of blocks of residences from some interesting businesses on 65th street like art galleries, martial arts studios, a synthesizer museum (?!) and lets out on a hip stretch of San Pablo Avenue in Oakland. The spot that called out to us for a cache is about a block and a half over the boarder from E'Ville. We met some friendly neighbors and cats on a warm Sunday walk.
