Pleasant Lake Dam Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

MainePublisher: Your cache appears to be in need of attention. It's been a while since the cache was found and there are no owner logs letting finders know why.

Two actions are required:

  1. Communicate with the other cachers by logging a note on the cache page. The note may explain the steps you plan to take or give assurance that the cache is still findable, especially if the cache is difficult to find.

  2. If the cache does need maintenance, please keep in mind the cache page can stay disabled for a reasonable amount of time - generally up to four weeks when the location is accessible.

All geocaches must have a responsive owner. I'm temporarily disabling the cache page to give you the opportunity communicate with those hoping to find the cache. If you are not able to respond within the next month, we'll archive the cache and you may submit a new cache page when you choose to.

Geocache Description:

Congrats to FTFs Benoitkms and wildflowers57

Enjoy one of my favorite lakes in NH! Great spot to catch the sunset.

This cache is a silver magnetic nano. Log only. BYOP. This place can be a high muggle area, so stealth may be required.

Pleasant Lake, in New London, is about 1.7 mi long, & about 0.8 mi wide. and reaches 90 ft. in depth, which attributes to some of the best lake fishing in the state. The largest land locked salmon in NH was caught in Pleasant Lake. Other fish include, small mouth bass, brook trout, pickerel, and horned pout. Rock bass have also infested these waters. Anglers are enouraged to cut the tails off any rock bass caught. Pleasant Lake Preservation Assiociation hosts a Rock Bass Maration for anglers 16 & under from June 1-Aug 20. Turn in fish at the boat ramp.
