BEIGNETS
A deep-fried yeasted doughnut, with no hole, of French origin. In the United States, they're most popular in Louisiana and New Orleans in particular, where they're generally served with powdered sugar. In France, beignets are often stuffed with a fruit filling.
Best to park at the DG. Shoulder of the road is narrow here best to approach from the parking lot. You will probably have to kneel to get it.
