Bridging the Gap (Waiuku) Traditional Cache

Cache is a small black watertight container with a rotating lock please be careful to replace exactly as found as I suspect muggles come to this bridge to hang out and also take care not to damage the lock (ensure it is closed properly I love this container <3).

Head along the trail at the parking coordinates and you will find the trail ends and you need to cross a grassy field down towards a wooden bridge. I stumbled onto this as I was out exploring and it truly gives a great view of the incoming estuary and feels like you are leaving home towards the middle of no where. This trail was recently renovated into the beautiful concrete bike track through the bush you see before you. Take care as school aged muggled may be up to no good down here at certain times of the day.
