When: Saturday 16th December 2017 from 11:30 to 13:30ish
Where: Ashridge Estate - In the Big Field near the Bridgewater Monument, where the Geolympix Mega was held in 2016 and the venue for next year’s WINTER GEOLYMPIX: ASHRIDGE 2018 (GC75FTF)
Why: Because we like to have a monthly meet and this is a popular venue with lots of nearby caches.
Who: Cachers from Bucks, Beds, Herts and beyond – everyone is welcome. Are you new to caching or cache events? You will be made especially welcome.
What: This is the 120th of an ongoing series of monthly events at various locations, handy for natives of the three counties to talk caching, plan expeditions, swap TBs/Geocoins…..
With Christmas rapidly approaching it can be difficult to find the time to attend an evening meeting, so Alibags and I thought that it would be a nice idea to host a short event at the weekend in a popular location with a lot of nearby caches and plenty of space for geo-kids to burn off some energy….
We hope you can make it.
We will provide Tea, Coffee and Hot Blackcurrant (so please bring along a Mug - that’s a Mug, not a muggle!) That being said, Muggle partners are welcome accompanied by a responsible cacher.
As this is a BBH event, please feel free to bring along Cake, Mince Pies or festive nibbles.
Many of you will be familiar with the area and will know that there is good parking close by and that there are toilet facilities at the nearby visitor centre and cafe.
If you are attending with young cachers, please can you message either Alibags or myself with their name and age, in case we can contact Santa before the event – no promises, this is his busy time of the year after all.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year full of Caching Fun
