Geocache Description:

A new year, and the LEC visits the Caterham viewpoint! There is limited parking at the viewpoint. There is a special new year souvenir available for those who find a cache or attend an event on new years day. The event will from 2pm - 3pm.

There is parking available at the viewpoint, however I have added 2 other possible parking spots if the parking is full. Both are a little walk away, but you can follow footpaths from both to the viewpoint.

A little new year competition for you all, which of the following about Caterham are true and which are porky pies? Whisper the code word in my ear to win a prize!

Caterham is home to ‘The Caterham Winkies’ Britiain's number one tiddlywink team.

After eights were first produced in Caterham until the great fire of 1980, which ironically starting just after 8pm.
