At various times Colonel Brodhead was editor and part owner of what newspaper?
I feel the past history of Michigan is VERY important especially to young kids.
By showing kids and adults that HISTORY did happen in their neighborhood and not just in far away places might just spark them into wanting to learn more.
How I wish someone would of taken me to some of the areas historical places as a kid. I was always under the impression that important history had only happened in distance places from where I had lived, when in fact I am learning that I might have been under the wrong impression!
