Geocache Description:

You can never tell what you might see if you just look up now and then. Can you find this?"

Quick! Grab a camera! You're going on a trip to Lake Neatahwanta in Fulton, New York!

NOTE: This is a virtual geocache. There is no box to find here, but you sure will have a lot of fun learning how to walk on water. The view here is rather pleasant. You can close your eyes and listen for the pounding surf. Be patient. It may take awhile. How good is your imagination?

Lake Neatahwanta is one of the focal points of Fulton. Recently the city has been developing the shore along side Route 3 with a restaurant, pavillion, parking lot, and nature trail. There are already two traditional geocaches on the trail, so bring your camera and be prepared to find all three!

Yes, indeed, life is good in Fulton, New York. The mayor was quoted in a recent edtion of the Oswego County Business Magazine:

"The city of Fulton is turning 100 years old, and the future has never looked brighter," said its mayor Michael Stafford. "We have a good school system, a low crime rate, and an overall good lifestyle in Fulton," he added.

Here are the rules to log this cache:

1. Use your GPS to navigate to the virtual cache location. You'll know you're in the right area when you can see wooden design pictured above. Your GPS screen should look very much like the photo below of my GPS screen, which is linked just beneath the maps farther down this page.

2. Take a photo of yourself and your GPS at the spot where the coordinates match those of the virtual cache. Try to set up the picture so that it doesn't completely give away the exact location or the path to the cache. Feel free to include friends and family. Geocachers rarely meet each other on the trail, so this cache will give us all the opportunity to see each other online. Smile!

3. Submit your log report, and immediately upload your photo(s). Please do not make us wait while you develop film. The usual virtual cache rules apply: only one log per player, and photos must be originals. Logs without photos will be deleted.
