Near the path and close to Pedernales Falls,TX
Park near the falls trail. I found a shady spot at N 30 20.044 W 98 15.144. The cache is a ammo can. You'll find it on the river side of a path under the skyline. Contents are mainly items from caches in the area. This is a great spot to bring the family for an outing but check the weather as the river here is highly prone to flash flooding (See (visit link) I'd suggest doing this one in the cool of the morning or evening.
Note! A permit with the ranger's office has been obtained. (Many thanks are due to Mrs. Captain Picard for her excellent work on all the caches in the park!!) However, the ranger's note is still in the cache. Please ignore it until I can get out there to retrieve it. -Nosecone
