At the Tim Horton shop in Labrador City park your vehicle and start
a hike to Vancover. After slowly hiking for an hour (5.55 km) toss
a coin to decide if you should continue the highway or the biway.
Than hike another 111 m and head for the cache!!!! It is located
less than 222 m from either roadway, lies in a crack in a rock. Of
course if you don't care to hike you can drive pretty close to the
cache. This is an ammo box cache. Nice spot for a few pictures.

1927, after a five-year trial. In 1809 Labrador had been
transferred from Lower Canada to Newfoundland, but the landward
boundary of Labrador had never been precisely stated. Canada,
stressing the historical use of the term "Coasts of Labrador",
argued the boundary was one statute mile (1.6 km) inland from the
high-tide mark. Newfoundland's winning arguement was that it
extended to the HEIGHT OF LAND
The province's name change to Newfoundland and Labrador is meant
to emphasize its claim to Labrador, as well as Labrador's unique
culture and contributions to the province.
