Meetingpoint Mjøsa

(Opprinnelig navn: X-Mjøs#03 Adventscache nummer 03 i X-Mjøskalenderen 2017)



På østsiden av Mjøsbrua er det etablert en bussholdeplass for lokale og regionale bussruter. Det er også parkeringsplass og møteplass for de som reiser med bil. Mjøsbrua er en 1420 meter lang kassebro med to kjørefelt over Mjøsa mellom Moelv og Biri. Brua har 21 spenn, hvorav det lengste er 69 meter. Seilingshøyden er ca. 15 meter. Broen er Norges fjerde lengste bro. Den ble åpnet 16. november 1985 og erstattet både et tidligere ferjesamband mellom Mengshol og Gjøvik.

On the eastern side of Mjøsbrua there is a bus stop for local and regional bus routes. There is also a car park and meeting point for those traveling by car. Mjøsbrua is a 1420 meter long bridge bridge with two lanes over Mjøsa between Moelv and Biri. Brua has 21 spans, the longest being 69 meters. The sailing height is approx. 15 meters. The bridge is Norway's fourth longest bridge. It was opened on November 16, 1985 and replaced both a former ferry service between Mengshol and Gjøvik.
