The Interurban Trail is a bicycle and walking trail stretching from Everett to Shoreline, with plans to eventually connect to the Burke Gillman trail. This cache is hidden in the stretch next to I-5 south of 128th St. SW. The closest parking is outside the Swedish Emergency Facility, formerly Puget Park Drive-in, (N 47 52.818, W 122 14.062), which is about 0.4 miles from the first waypoint. If you want a longer walk or bike ride, park at the other end near 164th St. SW (N 47 51.227, W 122 15.122), which is about 1.5 miles from the cache area.
The coordinates are for WP1. WP1 will provide instructions to the final location. WP1 has been muggled. Why someone would steal a dog tag with coordinates etched in it I can't imagine. Until I replace it, the dog tag had the following information: 47 52.539 122 14.451
The actual cache is now a small Tupperware type container with a blue lid.. After twelve years, the original ammo can was stolen in July 2014. Hope you enjoyed this one. This was my first cache and is now one of the oldest caches in the area, so please let me know if you encounter problems.
By the way, as of August 2025, there is an unlocked gate providing easy access to the trail at the SW corner of the Swedish property - at the back of the reminates of the old drive-in theater once in this location.
