Obec Podhájska sa nachádza na južných výbežkoch Pohronskej pahorkatiny v nadmorskej výške 170 metrov nad morom. Najvyššia nadmorská výška je 288 m n.m a najnižšia je 161 m n.m. Patrí do Novozámockého okresu a do Nitrianskeho kraja. Vznikla v roku 1960 spojením dovtedy samostatných obcí Belek a Svätuša. Leží na železničnej trati medzi Levicami a Šuranmi. Susedí s obcami Trávnica, Radava, Pozba, Veľké Lovce. Je známa termálnym kúpaliskom.
V obci je rímskokatolícky kostol Narodenia Panny Márie z roku 1904 a druhý kostol Panny Márie Nanebovzatej (v bývalej obci Belek) z roku 1905.
Obľúbené termálne kúpalisko Podhájska je malým slovenským morom, ktoré poskytuje svoje služby a možnosť rekreácie počas celého roka. Termálna voda je slaná a pôsobí priam zázračne na ochorenia: reumatizmus, dna, bolesti chrbtice, kĺbové ochorenia, cievne ochorenia, ekzémové ochorenia, prieduškové ochorenia a ochorenia dýchacích ciest. Blahodarne pôsobí aj na doliečenie zlomenín, zmierňuje bolesti a stimuluje štítnu žľazu.

4 - Rozbor vody geotermálneho prameňa obsahuje SPOLU KATIÓNOV (mg/l)? (stage2)
5 - Koľko aniónov bromidov (mg/l) je obsiahnutých v geotermálnom prameni? (stage 3)
6 - Z geologického hľadiska ide o vodu akého mora? (stage 4)
7 - K logu priložte fotografiu seba, alebo aspoň okolia na počiatočných súradniciach. Táto úloha je nepovinná, ale každá fotka poteší..

The village of Podhájska is located on the southern slopes of Pohronská hills in an altitude of 170 meters above sea level. The highest altitude is 288 m.a.s.l. and the lowest is 161. It belongs to the Novozámocký district and the Nitra region. It was founded in 1960 by the unification of the separate villages of Belek and Svätuša. Podhajska is a Railway crossing village between Levice and Šurany. Its neighboring villages comprise of Trávnica, Radava, Pozba, Veľké Lovce. Podhájska is most widely known for its thermal swimming pool.
Among others a roman catholic church dedicated to the Birth of the Virgin Mary built in 1904 and another church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary (in the former village of Belek) from 1905.
Popular thermal swimming pool Podhájska is a small „Slovak sea“ that offers its services for the whole year. The thermal water is salty and is considered to work wonders against ilnesses such as : rheumatism, gout, back pain, joint disease, vascular disease, dermatitis, bronchitis and respiratory disease. It helps with recovery from bone fractures, eases pain and stimulates thyroid.

2. What is the depth of the borehole, temperature, colour and the typical taste of the water?
3. What is the altitude of the starting coordinates?
4. The geothermal water analysis contains approximately how many cations (mg/l)?
5. What is the density of bromide anions in the geothermal water in mg/l?
6. From a geological perspective the geothermal water found in Podhájska belonged to what sea?
7. If possible, attach a photography of yourself or at least the surroundings on your starting coordinates to the log. This task is voluntary but I will be grateful for every photo!
