Geocache Description:

Near a paved path in the park behind the Reykjavik Youth Hostel. The

Container is a plastic box, with blue lid for easier visibility.

The cache is hidden inside the rock wall of the little gully right in front of the tribute to Washing Women in the middle of the park. The gully has two wooden bridges that cross over it and the gully itself is about 4-5 feet deep. The cache is hidden in the rock wall between these two wooden bridges on the side farthest from the Washing Women tribute. The cache is visible if looking straight at the rock wall while standing in the gully. The cache is the upper half of the rock wall.

The park is easy to find. Simply walk out the back door of the Reykjavik Youth Hostel and follow the paths to the park and leads one to the tribute.

Have fun and make sure to take a look at the tribute, it is interesting to read some of the early history of Reykjavik.
