This geocache is a camo-taped container hidden at the given coordinates. Parking is available right in front of GZ, off to the side of the gravel road, to the left of the gate. The location is SGL 166, and even though the cache is at the gate, please exercise sensible precautions if hunters are in the area. During the peak hunting seasons, orange is required to be worn in SGL (except on Sunday, when there is no hunting).
Also, please do not park in such a way as to block the gate or the SGL road. There should be enough room to park one vehicle to the side of the SGL road so that other vehicles will be able to get around yours if necessary.
The road to the gate is gravel and a little rough in places, but I was able to drive a low-clearance two-door car to and from the gate with little issues the day I scouted the hiding coordinates. Please use sensible precautions and care when driving on SGL roads.
Due to the smaller size of the container, please bring a pen along to sign the log.
Some newer caches from green nikki providing a "back door" breadcrumb trail to Feel the Power (GCX1TE) and Brush Mountain Composition (GC5FNM0) are beyond this gate, hence this geocache sub-title. Also of note at the time of placement is Bee Girl's Cache (GC7ECX1) in close proximity just 0.2 miles up from the gate and OddMushroom's Quite the Cache mystery/unknown geocache (GC7EYFN). There is plenty of good geocaching just beyond this gate, but please respect the priority of hunting in the area first, especially after Thanksgiving and through the Christmas season.
Congrats to 74vwBusFamily for the Thanksgiving Day FTF!
