From this cache area you will get an incredible view of Bridal Veil Falls and the rugged valley above it. It's a view you can never get from the road below and that few people have taken time to see.

To get there, however, you will need a good 4x4 or ATV. If you are someone who likes to hike you can walk up it. From the point where the trail turns up the hill it's about .40 of a mile to the cache with an elevation gain of over 500 feet. (So more than 1 foot up for every 4 feet forward).
The road is steep and consists of loose shale-like rock. You don't have to have a locked Diff, but in a couple of spots it will help. This is not a trail for any passenger car, 2 wheel drive, or nice SUV that you don't want to get scratched. The scrub oak is 5 to 6 feet high on both sides of the road and you will brush against it with a vehicle.
Up at about N40 20.797 W111 36.462 the road will have reached its highest location and from there you can see it goes down 50 to 80 feet into a stream. This is the end of the road for your vehicle. You can drive right to the stream, but the south side of the road has erroded and is narrow. Stop at the top of this rise if you are at all uncomfortable about driving in reverse back up to this point....There is no place to turn around in the stream bed.
From here walk through the stream and follow the road south past the two huge boulders (put there to keep us from driving further) and stop out in the open area to look at Bridal Veil Falls and the valley above it. Now turn around and go find the cache.

Note: In the Summer months you may see a snake or two in this general area. They are native to this canyon. As always when in the mountains or deserts of Utah please be careful of where you walk and where you put your hands when caching.
