Geocache Description:

This challenge celebrates all of our wonderful parks and open spaces, and the hundreds of miles of trails that we have to enjoy.

Sierra Azul has over 27 miles of trails, some mild and some so steep they'll turn your legs to Jello. They used to intimidate me, but now I'm a Sierra Azul trail crusher! You can be a trail crusher, too. You probably already are!

To log this challenge, you must have found at least 500 caches of terrain 2.5 or higher. None of them actually have to be in Sierra Azul. There are no restrictions on location, difficulty, or cache type, but you may not use your own hides to satisfy the requirements.

To see if you qualify, use the checker:

The cache is a small/medium container hidden just off the Priest Rock trail in Sierra Azul. There's a bit of bushwhacking required in the final 50 feet or so, but it's not too tough for a trail crusher! Stand at the southeast pillar and look due south. You'll see an area of manzanita (brighter green leaves) about 60 feet away. The cache is a few feet west of the manzanita, and there are several "paths" that lead to it.

Sierra Azul is open from dawn to one-half hour after sunset. Happy hunting!

Congrats to not2b on the lightning fast FTF!
