Geocache Description:

A series of hides honoring the characters on the series Stranger Things. All along the East Central Regional Rail Trail.

Barbara Holland, more commonly referred to as Barb, is the best friend of Nancy Wheeler. During Stranger Things, Barb mysteriously vanishes, which leads Nancy and Jonathan Byers to investigate her disappearance. Eventually, it was revealed that she had been killed by the Monster.

Barb seemed cautious about Nancy's relationship with Steve and her growing popularity. She expressed her dislike of Steve's friends Tommy and Carol, telling Nancy she wanted to keep "hanging out" with her.
Barb reluctantly agreed to drive Nancy to a party at Steve's house. At the party, she attempted to open a beer can with a knife, so she would fit in with the others - however, she accidentally cut her hand in the process. lonely Barb sat by the now vacant pool, looking into her reflection and contemplating.
As she did so, blood from her wound trickled through her bandage, splashing and dissolving in the water. The Monster was attracted by the scent, suddenly materializing behind her and pulling her into the Upside Down.

A vote of thanks go to War1man and Mimi for gifting me the containers which I'm using on this series of hides. With the archiving of the area renowned Riff Raff Run in this same area, I'm striving to return the same area to its former glory.

As a note to all cachers, this, for now, is the end of the hiking biking trail. I'm pleased with all the positive comments on these hides. They should be fun for all and coming at the Thanksgiving holiday, it gives some outlet for getting exercise after the big turkey dinner. Should Volusia County extend the trail further, I'll extend it with more cache hides. Every cacher should consider adding more caches to the local Central Florida environment for all to enjoy.
