Some of us began this tradition back in 2011 by gathering on the beach to watch the sunrise. No greater way to greet the new year than by watching the sunrise while grabbing a smiley with geocaching friends (muggles are welcome).
We will begin to gather around 6:00 a.m during the twilight at the posted coordinates above and share geocaching stories and plans for 2018 while waiting for the sunrise. The sunrise event will end at 7:00 a.m.
Following the sunrise event, we will be going to a local restaurant and you have the option of going with us for a buffet breakfast (DUTCH TREAT).
