Geocache Description:

There is no need to scramble up the embankment - just walk a few steps uphill to where there is a gutter drain, and just past that there is an easier, and just as short/quick way to GZ. *** The boom gate, on the road up, is usually closed at night, but the cache can still be accessed. When the gate is open, there is parking near GZ *** To access the cache - you should only need to move ONE rock (if you remove any wrong ones, please replace as found.)

I want to go into Space, but staring into space through a telescope is probably the closest I will get... (Apparently I also sometimes just stare into space... and my brain is a million miles away even if I am not)

The boom gate is usually closed at night, so check the listed time as you come in or you might get stuck.(actually the boom gate might still let vehicles out, but I am not 100% sure about that). The Cache is still accessible when the gate is closed, but you will have to walk ... or go by bike - yes - lots of people DO ride bikes UP this Hill! (but maybe not so much at night - lol) You can either Park near the gate and walk along road, or if you are as crazy as me - park beside the road down below GZ, and walk up the hill through the bush :)

Btw, because I am so organised (NOT!) I hid this on 24/11 but I am finally doing the listing and submitting it on Christmas day :)

I have moved this cache slightly since I first hid it - found a nicer spot to hide it, which also should be less likely to encourage people to scramble up the steep embankment and causing so much damage. It used to be among the rocks under the wattle tree, right next to the embankment. Feel free to wander up that way - the plants are interesting... there is even a patch of lavender growing there ... and the view is best from that bit of higher ground beside the tree (and just as close to the cache as well)
