This is an electronic geocache powered by an Arduino UNO microcontroller. (If you don’t know what Arduino is, you can find more information at this website: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Introduction)
This geocache is part of a series of caches involving microcontrollers. A microcontroller is basically a small computer that is programmable and it can interact with circuits.
Your goal: Open the combination lock and sign the log.
Your challenge: Figuring out the combination of the lock from what the Arduino is telling you. (hint, you will need a TOTT. See title.) =D
You will need to bring a 9 volt battery to the cache site to power the Arduino.
Figuring out the combination could take less than a minute… or it could take more than an hour. It depends.
Have fun!
There is a combination lock on the outside of the ammo can for a muggle barrier. The code is: 17-19-33.
The only lock that will get you to the log is the 3-digit combination lock inside the ammo can. Please do not try to open the other locks.
There is a prize for the FTF in the log container.
