Bat Cave over old 84 Traditional Cache

Hey! This is our first cache placed, hope you like it. It is just off 84, down part of the old road along the stream and up a hill, you see the cave from the bottom of the hill.
Like I said this is our first cache, We have been to several caches and thought they had been rated a little higher than they should have been. But to make sure than we aren't insane and love abuse, we let the kids rate this one. Wildcat (8 yrs old) said she thought it was easy to find since we set it out in the open, but the hill was a little rocky. Treasuregirl (10 yrs old) loved the hill, both up and down, Rockhound (formerly wondermutt) ran up and down the skree twice. So they all agreed on a 1 for how hard to find the cooler and a middle (3) for climbing the hill. Rock Hound donated the pig ear jerky dog treats.
Park at N41 03.018 and W 111 36.287. hop the wire, we asked a trooper and he said we were not tresspassing, the wire and gate was to stop people from driving back there. There is a nice stream to go fishing from. walk around the road until you see the cave. Then go up the Skree slide, BUT STAY TO THE RIGHT! going left leads to rocky cliffs and unstable mud/dirt slides. the cooler is in plain sight inside the cave which is more of a gouge in the rock wall than a cave, not even dark inside it. there is a lot of guano and some bones from something's lunch, no bats though. (Nuts!!) Check the pics out as they will lead you to the right trails, we don't want anyone to get hurt, but this is a nice place.
