Geocache Description:

A Blue Moon Night

Wednesday, January 31, 2018

Starting at 6:00 PM

What is a Blue Moon? While the definition of what is a Blue Moon has changed over the years, the popular theory is that whenever two Full Moons appear in a single month, the second is christened a "Blue Moon."

This  OUTDOOR event will be held at Reinstein Woods starting at 6:00 PM with a gathering at the Gazebo to chat about Winter Geocaching of course and to enjoy the Blue Moon Rising!  Please be prepared for the weather.

After the gathering, I will lead an optional guided walk through The Woods, 1-2 miles.  A real treat, as The Woods is not usually accessible in the DARK!  If there is enough snow, and those wishing to join me, snowshoes will be available for rent.  Are you thinking, I could never walk in snowshoes?  Trust me, if you can walk, you can definitely snowshoe.  Optional walk will be cancelled if there is rain.
