This section of the Oak Ridge Trail (ORT) has a series of challenge caches covering a 3km section from Lakeridge (Durham 23) to Ashburn Rd and will take hikers through a lovely section of wooded forest, past wetlands and open meadow that make up the Oak Ridges Moraine. The Oak Ridges Moraine stretches over 160 kilometers north of the GTA and is the source of 65 major streams or rivers, providing clean drinking water to over a quarter of a million people who live on the moraine.Â
The cache is at the posted coordinates.
In order to qualify for this challenge you will need to meet 3 of the 4 following criteria:
1. Have found at least 50 Letterbox Caches
2. Have found at least 50 Earthcaches.
3. Have found at least 50 Virtual caches
4. Have attended at least 50 cache events (CITO, Megas, Events etc.)
Logging rules:
1. All past finds count and qualifying caches can be found anywhere in the world.
2. You are welcome to find this cache and post a note if you do not qualify yet, and update your log once you qualify.
3. Found logs that do not qualify for this challenge will be deleted.
