This is an old plantation home built in the early 1900’s. It is one of the few houses that survived the flood of 1927. This was the most destructive flood in the history of the United States. The house to the left was the plantation worker’s sleeping quarters. Both homes were originally located on highway 65. When Highway 65 was paved my great-grandfather and grandfather had them both moved to the current location.

The cache has been placed on our personal property. Don’t mind the dog if you see him, he’s harmless but is mostly kept inside. Happy caching!
