Temporary cache container in place, as I suspect a non geocacher found the original container. The original will be placed back when I'm confident the non geocacher has no interest in removing it. The temp container is in the same location, is the same size category but is now a cliplock box
We have placed this cache on the mountainside where we spent our childhood playing, affectionately known as The Graig. This area is one of the Rhondda Fachs hidden bits of wilderness where you can feel completely secluded despite being a few hundred meters from both Tylorstown and Penrhys.
As the path to ground zero isn't obvious on the map, here is a description of the route you should take from the posted street parking. Head up the lane behind the street. Head right at the gates of the farm house and follow the path to three trunks of a sycamore tree. Take a slight right up the hill then at the top take a left through a gap in the trees. At the first fork follow the lower more well used path and you will come to a second fork where you will need to take the higher path. You should then be at ground zero.
To open the 'log' give it a gentle twist and it will reveal the log sheet container. Please try to replace as found. Thanks and happy caching.
