Vanuit Nieuwegein is deze locatie ALLEEN met de fiets of te voet te bereiken vanuit de wijk Doorslag via de IJsselsteinseweg, die overgaat in de Oude Utrechtseweg. Vanuit IJsselstein zijn er uiteraard meerdere mogelijkheden.
Voor de auto zijn er twee mogelijkheden om te parkeren. WP1 is met een loop afstand van <100 dichtbij. Noordwaarts is WP2 met ~250 meter het verste lopen.
De cache is niet moeilijk te vinden op dit rustige stukje groen met veel bomen en een forse sloot. Hierdoor kan GZ nogal eens afwijken. Bij veel regen is de grond drassig. Er is geen ruimte voor TB’s en een eigen pen wordt aangeraden.

Europakwartier
In the Europakwartier, which is located in the northeast of IJsselstein, no geocaches have yet been installed. A good reason to find a nice place here. This is found in a quiet green area that is situated close to Nieuwegein. However, this area is intersected by the A2, the N210 (Weg de Verenigde Naties) and the tram tracks. The cache is NOT accessible from the A2 or the N210.
From Nieuwegein this location can ONLY be reached by bike or on foot from the district Doorslag via the IJsselsteinseweg, which becomes the Oude Utrechtseweg. From IJsselstein there are of course several possibilities.
There are two options for parking the car. WP1 is close to a distance of <100. To the north, WP2 is the furthest with ~ 250 meters.
The cache is not hard to find on this quiet piece of green with lots of trees and a big ditch. Because of this, GZ can often deviate. The ground is soggy when it rained a lot. There is no room for TB’s and your own pen is recommended.
