Geocache Description:

Send out the old year with your caching buddies at Ben and Jerry's!  This will get you your "last cache of 2017" souvenir, meetup with the local cachers and have some fun at the ice cream factory.

Ring out the old year at this well known spot, while meeting up with some of the Vermont geocachers.   We are doing this early so you can get out geocaching before and after, and get on the road before dark.

Start time is 1:00 pm.  (End time 1:45)   The parking coords get you to the street entrance to the commercial establishment. You can park in any of their parking spaces and meet us up at the main entrance, or look for a Happy New Year balloon with a bunch of geocachers nearby.

Bring your trackables to trade.   Bring your best 2017 caching stories!

There are several geocaches in the area, along with one very close by.

The event will be officially over at 1:45 pm. although you are free to hang with your caching friends as long as you like. I am looking for a volunteer or two to oversee the trackables and meet and greet.

After the event, you are welcome to join the famous factory tour. I have reserved 30 spaces for the 2:00 pm tour. under the name of Vermont Geocachers.    It is 30 minutes long and includes ice cream samples!  There is a modest fee, but is free for kids 12 and under. Contact me through email or the messenger for details. Preregistration very helpful.

This is a kid friendly event.  We also welcome cachers from all over, who may want to get their taste of the commercial establishment's wares, while passing through.  Bienvenue to our Canadian neighbors.

Ring out the old year with us in Waterbury at a well loved Vermont attraction.!
