The cache is NOT AT THE POSTER coordinates and going there is not necessary.
BUT going there may be the best way to find the information needed. You may actually be able to find the information online also, but that would really be lucky.
After driving into this location today for the third time from Rainbow Heights in search of new hides I decided to exit out by continuing S/E along the power line road to the Pala/Temecula Road. Just for your information that is impossible and there is no exit or entrance from that direction as the road is closed by locked gates. As I returned back up and over the road I had just driven I decided to add another new cache to this area.
Now for the cache location:
Once you have the green and white sign located you will notice lots of numbers on multiple lines on both sides of the signs.
All number/digit references from here on will be in the format: P#/D,
P# = phone number from the top down.
D = digit from left to right disregarding letters, spaces, and dashes.
Find and assemble the 2 digit number 2/9, 2/3
Subtract this from the posted longitude
Find and assemble the 3 digit number 1/2, 2/8+2/6, 1/1
Add this to the posted latitude
You should now have the final cache coordinates.
Four wheel-drive is highly recommended to access this power line road. Please be respectful of the home owners along the route into the area and watch for the critters that call this area their home. Some will bite and maybe even kill.
