Geocache Description:

Hey everybody!!

So, I'm a huge fan of The Amazing Race! It's a fantastic TV show and I've seen every episode! Or at least...I THOUGHT I had seen every episode!

Atonishingly, a DVD was discovered in an abandoned storage locker, containing a previously unknown, un-aired season of the show. It contains all episodes, showing the full Race from start to finish. Why this season was filmed, produced, and even edited but ultimately not shown on television, will probably never be known.

I tried to share this amazing discovery with Wikipedia, so this could be documented, but there are so many rules at Wikipedia that my edits were taken down due to a lack of proper sourcing. Ugh... I can share the details here with you all, though!

If you're not aware, The Amazing Race is a competition where teams of two follow a race course that encircles the globe, visiting many different countries along the way, slowly being eliminated until only a winner remains. The route through the different countries is always the highlight of the show. In fact, the Wikipedia page for each season contains a nice little map that shows the race route. I decided to make one for this unaired season.

As we all know, the Race always starts in the United States. However, they usually head straight for the airport and depart, so we don't usually count that. From there, the route travels across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia! It's simply amazing how far the teams managed to go! Just how many international borders?

I wish I could share the actual season with you all, but I don't want to commit piracy or anything like that. For now, the map will have to suffice. Hopefully I can somehow convince the television executives to share this crazy adventure with the world!

There was also a weird note attached to the DVD. It said: "-00.003, -00.002"
