Geocache Description:

To access this cache you will be using the grid road #711 and then a lesser used gravel road.  Use your own judgement on weather conditions.  BYOP  Enjoy the scenery on the drive.


This brings you into the Fletwode district which was settled in the early 1880's.  In 1902 the Herman Church was established with the imposing site bringing to mind the biblical Mount Herman, hence the name.  They joined with the United Church in 1926 and remained in use until 1977.   The church is still used on special occasions.  Here you will find some of the names of the early settlers to this area.  You will be looking for a micro within a host, within a host.
