10:00-11:00 AM GEOCACHING 101 PRESENTATION
Waukesha Schuetze Recreation Center Gym
Geocaching, a global game of treasure hunting using longitude and latitude coordinates, is a fun filled adventure for all ages. With a GPS receiver, and internet access, you are ready to explore and search for a "geocache". This presentation will focus on the BASICS needed to get started in participating in this eco-friendly sport including suggested equipment, the website, how to search for a cache and types of caches.
A series of new geocaches are being placed along the Fox River a short walk from the presentation, if we have any experienced geocachers interested in walking with a newbie along this route to find them, please stop by! (I need to leave the Schuetze building following the presentation to get to our lunch location so I appreciate your help!)
12:00 noon - 2:00 PM AFTEROON MEET AND GREET EVENT / LUNCH
N 43° 00.639 W 088° 13.961 meet up with us at Mia’s Italian Restaurant

(Insider Tip: Parking might be challenging in the downtown area.)
The restaurant is closed to the general public during our event although if a muggle stumbles in, we do welcome them.
The courtesy of a will attend mentioning lunch with your group number is appreciated so I can give the restaurant a rough count the Thursday prior so they are staffed appropriately.
