Perching in a Park (Auckland) Traditional Cache

A cache that will take you to a little park where you'll find you have to get a little height to get to the cache. It's a micro in a tree - but look closely and you'll see something that will give it away. There's houses all around so you'll need a bit of stealth.

This park Rockfield Reserve is surrounded on all sides by houses so is quite secluded. I imagine it might be quite spooky at night time so perhaps one best done in the day time or if you must go in the dark take a friend. 

Once you get to ground zero you'll need to look around and look up to spot the cache. Even though this cache is a very small micro, if you're eagle eyed you'll spot something that could hold a cache. Even a fledgling geocacher should be able to see this one and when you do you'll be as happy as a lark.

Alas then comes the hard part - getting to the cache. You'll need to climb to get to it - no grousing now, this old coot managed to place so you should be able to get to it without any 'owls of pain. Being tall as a moa would be very helpful .

As it is a micro you'll need to take your own pen and there is no room for tradeables or trackables here. Have fun!
