Geocache Description:

Located on the trails of the Norfolk Land Trust. The treadway and drainage work accomplished by the Americorps NCCC Crew from Maryland in 2012.
Parking and white blaze trailhead are on either Grantville Rd {the East side} N41 57.230 W073 10.486 or
Winchester Rd. {the West side} N41 57.797 W073 11.872

There is only room for about one or two cars on each, so you may need to park down the street.

Trail maps for Pine Mountain can sometimes be found at the trailhead on the East side on Grantville Rd.

Hike down the white blazed Billings Trail {Called the Tait Section} until you get near the geocache GC16E3A "Got Wood? Series: Stumped". From there, you will see a trail heading down the hill to a small bridge. Over the river and through the woods, there will be an intersection. Take the Scarlet Tanager trail loop on the left up to the Pine Mountain summit and cache.

Keep following the trail which becomes the Pine Mountain trail until you get to another intersection, then you can either take a left and start climbing the East Summit trail loop and grab that cache, or take a right at the intersection to return to the Billings Trail.

It is recommended you take coordinates at any intersection to avoid getting lost. This is a very large forest!
