CERKEV SV. LOVRENCA, KAZLJE
Cerkev je bila zgrajena in posvečena v letu 1634. Zvonik so kasnje prizidali leta 1864, vmes pa so jo tudi prezidali. Tristrano zaključen prezbiterij in zakristija iz leta 1746 sta krita s kamnitimi skrlami. Notranjost cerkve kaže poznobaročno podobo, celovito poslikavo pa je v letu 1895 izvedel Ivan Strnad. Med restavratorskim delom so tik ob vhodu naleteli, pod korom, na zanimivo najdbo, na starejšo plast poslikav baročno posvetilnih križev, ki sovpadajo z domnevnim začetkom cerkve, to je okrog leta 1630. Med vojno, v letu 1943 je preživela požig vasi. V zadnjih letih obnove, so med drugim obnovili vhodna vrata iz leta 1798.
V bližini vasi se nahaja tudi prazgodovinsko najdišče Vahta. Datira v bronasto dobo. Gre za eno največjih in najbolje ohranjenih gradišč na Krasu, s konstrukcijo vrat. Poleg velikosti lahko opazimo tudi dvojni venec obrambnih kamnitih okopov, ki so tudi v celoti ohranjeni.
CHURCH OF SAINT LAURENCE, KAZLJE
The church was built and consecrated in 1634. The belfry was added later in 1864, during which time it was also rebuilt. The three sided presbiterium and sacristy from 1746 are covered with stone plates (skrle). The inside shows late-baroque style, but the paintings were done in 1895 by Ivan Strnad. During restoration works near the door under the balcony, they discovered an older layer of paintings of baroque crosses, which are supposedly dated to 1630. During the second world war, in 1943 it survived the arson of the nearby village. In the last years they reconstructed the roof and door, which dated into 1798.
Near the village there is also an prehistoric site named Vahta. It dates in the bronze age.It is one of the biggest and well preserved builds in Kras with the door construction. Besides the size we can also notice the construction of double stone defense dig-ins which are also well preserved.
