The container was placed because I was looking for a cache in which to place the MT Climate Assessment trackable for Rosebud County. I visited many sites and had difficulty finding them, a lot of exercise was involved in getting to them (this trackable needs to be accessible), not be accessible in winter, or tnot big enough, so I decided to start my own. I chose the Forest Service office because it is an integral part of life around Ashland.
There is parking available for all sized vehicles. You will have to walk about 20 feet to find the container. It is a plastic dog bone container with blue duck tape & red lid. It has been placed with the permission of the forest service office. You will have to look down. There is a picnic table across the street at the school, if you want to take a break and eat.
