This is my first solo hide ever! I am crossing my fingers that the coordinates are good. The last time I played, I had my Garmin, smart phones were not an option yet. Wow! I must be aging.
The actual hide may not seem very peaceful at first, but I guarantee if you hang out a little bit and "just be", you may forget you are in the desert. You may even think you are in a different state. The cache is in a small, rectangular, clearish snap-lock container. I never knew this little refuge until I moved into the "hood". Found it when out exploring with my dogs. My dogs love to splash. Just so perfect. Yes, I know where the flow comes from(just pretend it doesn't). It is clean enough that a native minnow species has returned and bird watching is excellent! Often there is a Sheriff hanging out, but as long as you are driving 35 he should leave you alone. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here.
