NETS: Jules Jewels at Freshwater Pond Traditional Cache

NETS:  North End Trail System at Manatee Springs State Park is a wonderful, diverse system of hiking trails extending about 8.5 miles, assuming you hike them all.  The central loop trail is about 2 miles.  It is recommended that you wear sturdy hiking boots, take a walking stick, carry bug spray and first aid supplies, and PLENTY of water.

Admission Fees:

$6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.

$4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.

$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Please park ONLY in designated parking area, do not drive through the gates if they are open, and do not attempt these after dark.  Cell phone reception can be sketchy out here, so be sure to let someone know where you are going, or, better yet, take someone with you.

This location presents a pretty view that may or may not have water in it.  There's a bench that allows a great place to take a break.
