For 2016 I decided I would try to place a series around the Pittsburgh area consisting of 81 caches, one of each of the 81 Difficulty/Terrain combinations. I have seen another series like this in the Virginia Beach area and thought it was a good idea. The series will consist of all 81 combinations as well as different cache types.
A recently archived cache was listed very close to here. I went looking for it and found these old pillars which must have been used for something over the old railroad back in the day. My guess would be foundation parts for minecar tracks over the railroad. Or maybe foundations for an oil derrick. I'm not sure. But, I placed a cache here! It's a plastic ammo can so it should be super easy as long as it doesn't get muggled. Terrain can be muddy at times.
