A Siziano ho vissuto dal 1968 al 1978: da 1 agli 11 anni.
Poi i miei hanno pensato bene di andare ad abitare a 100km di distanza. Ok, siamo andati in campagna e in una casa più grande; ma in un'epoca senza cellulari, internet e tecnologie di comunicazione moderne, in pratica mi hanno sradicato dalla mia confort zone di amicizie, sport, scuola, hobby, giochi…
In queste settimane, dopo 40 anni durante i quali non ci siamo più visti né più sentiti, mi è venuta la nostalgia e -ve la faccio breve- ho incontrato, rivisto e risentito un sacco di amici, ex compagni delle elementari, del basket…
A loro, a Siziano, all'adolescenza diversa, al rincontrarsi dopo 40 anni, al magone, alla nostalgia e alla vita dedico questa piccola serie di cache.
Nel corso del Basso Medioevo (1000-1492) Siziano fu al centro di sanguinose contese fra Milano e Pavia, essendo posta proprio al confine fra le due terre. I Milanesi eressero quindi una fortezza, di cui ci sono oggi rimaste queste vestigia.
All'interno di queste vecchie mura è stato installato (non so dirvi in che anni) il campo sportivo comunale, in cui ho fatto in tempo a svolgere i miei primi Giochi della Gioventù… Cosa sarà stato? il 1976, o il 77, o giù di lì.

Siziano: I lived there from 1968 to 1978: from 1 to 11 years.
Then my parents thought to go living 100km away. Ok, we went to the country and to a bigger house; but in an age without cellphones, internet and modern communication technologies, they basically eradicated me from my comfort zone of friendship, sport, school, hobbies, games ...
In these weeks, after 40 years during which we have neither seen nor heard anymore, I have been homesick and -I'll tell you shortly- I met, reviewed and resented a lot of friends, former classmates, basketball teammates...
I want to dedicate this small series of cache to them, to Siziano, to a different adolescence, to our reunion after 40 years, to the lump in our throats, to nostalgia and to life .
During the Late Middle Ages (1000-1492), being located on the border between Milan and Pavia territories, Siziano was at the center of bloody disputes. Milan armies then erected a fortress here: today remain some vestiges, but they are few and not so visible.
Within these old walls was installed (I can't tell you when) the municipal sports field, in which I had time to play my first Youth Games... What would have been? 1976, or 77, or so.
