A series of 15 caches placed around Underbank Reservoir in South Yorkshire which makes for a fine circular walk of almost 3 miles in lovely surroundings.
The going is generally good on well made paths with a couple of gates and a low wall (2ft max) between #11 and #12 to negotiate so you should be able to get a baby buggy around the walk especially if it is one that has those larger type wheels.
Although the caches are numbered there is no particular start/finish point or sequence but the suggested parking is Underbank Activity Centre car park on the south side of the reservoir where parking is free
NOTE: DO NOT PARK BEYOND THE ENTRANCE BARRIER TO THE ACTIVITY CENTRE BELOW THE CAR PARK IF IT IS OPEN ... YOU MAY GET LOCKED IN IF THE ACTIVITY CENTRE STAFF LEAVE BEFORE YOU RETURN!
As the route crosses the busy A616 in two places care should be taken with children and animals
All caches within Underbank reservoir boundaries have been placed with the kind permission of Yorkshire Water Authority and in accordance with their guidelines and wishes.
