Welcome to Town Square Park. Puget Sound Energy and the City of Federal Way Parks Department worked together to create some new caches in the Federal Way vicinity and highlight their neighborhood and community parks. This is a newer park with lots of stuff to do all year long. Have fun!
Town Square Park offers Zip lines, childrens play area, basketball court, parking, picnic Area, restrooms and a seasonal splash park.
ARTility
This cache commemorates the ARTility installation just steps away on a PSE transformer box on the NW corner of the park. It highlights PSE’s 50x40 campaign with a target to reduce greenhouse gasses 50% by the year 2040.
Seattle artist Angelina Villalobos, who is known as OneSevenNine, created the art. The ARTility team selected Villalobos because of her connection to youth in education, along with her unique style of cultural integration into her art.
There is plenty of parking here and the cache is located near the brick building - But not on it!
