Chile es un país geográficamente muy variado. Comprende una larga (4250km) y angosta (entre 90km y 440km) faja de tierra, conocida como Chile continental totalizando una superficie terrestre de unos 756.000km². Situada en la costa occidental del Cono Sur se extiende entre la ribera del océano Pacífico y las cumbres más altas de la Cordillera de los Andes. Posee territorios insulares de origen volcánico en el océano Pacífico Sur, como el Archipiélago de Juan Fernández, las Islas Desventuradas, la isla Salas y Gómez y la muy conocida Isla de Pascua (ubicada en la Polinesia). Además reclama un sector de la Antártida de unos 1.250.000km² llamado el Territorio Chileno Antártico.
Actualmente Chile tiene caches permanentes activos escondidos en altitudes entre 0 metros sobre el nivel del mar (GC4EHNG Puente Río Cruces) y 6821 metros sobre el nivel del mar (GC6Z4BK Ojos del Salado). Luego, su desafío para cumplir con la meta de este cache será encontrar algunos caches físicos en los dos extremos de este rango sustancial, es decir tanto en las cercanías de la costa o las playas del Pacífico como en el altiplano norteño o la alta montaña de la cordillera. Adicionalmente el desafío requiere subir y bajar (como en una montaña rusa) entre las distintas zonas territoriales acumulando (kilo)metros de elevación.
Chile is a geographically very varied country. It comprises a long (4250km) and narrow (between 90km and 440km) strip of land, known as Continental Chile with a total surface area of around 756,000km². Located on the western coast of the Cono Sur (Southern Cone), it extends from the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean to the highest peaks of the Andes Mountains. In addition, Chile has insular territories of volcanic origin in the South Pacific Ocean, such as the Juan Fernández Archipelago, the Desventuradas Islands, Salas y Gómez Island and the well-known Easter Island (located in Polynesia). It also claims an Antarctic sector of about 1,250,000km² called the Chilean Antarctic Territory.
Chile currently has permanent active caches hidden at altitudes between 0 meters above sea level (GC4EHNG Puente Rio Cruces) and 6821 meters above sea level (GC6Z4BK Ojos del Salado). Therefore, your task to fulfill the challenge of this cache is to find several caches in the two extremes of this substantial elevation range, that is, both in the vicinity of the coast or the beaches of the Pacific as well as in the northern highlands or the high ranges of the Andes Mountains. Additionally the challenge requires you to repeatedly go up and down (like in a roller-coaster) between the distinct territorial zones to accumulate some (kilo)meters of travelled elevation.
El contenedor de este cache SE ENCUENTRA en las coordenadas del waypoint final, a los pies del cerro San Cristóbal, muy cerca de la estación base del teleférico, pero para legítimamente reclamar su hallazgo y registrarlo en línea, primero tiene que cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:
- Encontrar 10 caches situados por debajo de los 10 m.s.n.m. cuyos altitudes suman no más que 25m. Estos 10 caches deben incluir a lo menos 6 de tipo tradicional.
- Encontrar 10 caches situados superior a los 2000 m.s.n.m. cuyos altitudes suman al menos 25.000m. Estos 10 caches también deben incluir a lo menos 6 de tipo tradicional.
- Sumar (entre todos sus caches encontrados) a lo menos 100.000 metros de altitud acumulada.

The cache container IS located at the final waypoint's coordinates, at the base of San Cristóbal hill, very near to the Teleférico base station, but to legitimately claim a find and log it on-line you have to meet the following requirements first:
- Find 10 caches with an elevation below 10 m.a.s.l. whose altitudes sum to no more than 25m. Those 10 finds have to include at least 6 caches of type traditional.
- Find 10 caches with an elevation above 2000 m.a.s.l. whose altitudes sum to at least 25,000m. Those 10 finds again have to include at least 6 caches of type traditional.
- Accumulate (between all your finds) at least 100,000 meters of travelled elevation.
