Geocache Description:

Come park at the posted coords for a few hours of hiking around Adair Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The event will last from aproximitily 12 PM - 12:30 PM at the posted coords and then a post event hike will take place around Adair for whoever wants to join. Make sure to bring water and maybe a snack! A description of this set of woods would be "In Boone County is the Dr. Norman & Martha Adair Wildlife Management Area. The property was donated by Dr. Adair and his wife before he passed away. He wanted to pass on his desire to not see the beautiful parcel developed, and have it preserved for future generations. There are 10 miles of trails on the WMA and they are open to foot traffic only. They are steep in some places; visitors might want to be prepared for a haul. It's open to statewide hunting regulations but only bows or crossbows may be used to take deer. Gum Branch cuts through the center of the WMA which happens to be located very near Big Bone Lick State Park" (Unbridled KY Adventure). Note: To help you remain the safest use your common sense and wear highly visible bright orange as their may be some hunters in the area. Gun season on deer is over however there are still other forms of hunting that will last til late February.
