The Pah Diao Dai cliff and nature trail are located in the Khao Yai (=Big Mountain) national park
The nature Trail is a 446 meter loop-trail and board walk that will take about half an hour to complete. The trail is an easy walk with many steps that passes through hill evergreen forest, where you will find temperate plant species distinctive of the higher elevations of Thailand.
The absolute highlight of the trail is the magnificent view from the Pha Diao Dai cliff.
Please do not take any stones or vegetarion for souvenirs.
The national park is open everyday from 8am til 7pm. It is possible to stay in the park for camping. As with all national parks in Thailand, an entrance fee is requiered for maintenance and preservation. Thai residents pay 40 baht, foreign tourists 400 baht to enter. The park is among the three biggest in Thailand and contains many viewpoints, waterfalls, coffeeshops, camping grounds and even a themepark and waterpark. To get to the cache, it is advised to use a (rental) car or motorbike, as the trail is located about 30 minute driving from the entrance point of the park. There is a parking space close to the entry point of the trail. The cache is located close to the viewpoint, about halfway the looped trail. Cache is placed with approval of local government official.
