NETS: North End Trail System of Manatee Springs State Park comprises about 8.5 miles of peaceful and varied ecosystems. Don't let the distances keep you from enjoying this wonderful and often under-utilized area of the park. Park in the designated area and DO NOT drive through the gate if it is open.
The Loop Trail is an under-utilized trail that is easy to negotiate - and returns to the main trail at a convenient location!
Hours:
The park is open from 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year.
Admission Fees:
$6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
$4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
Lace up the hiking boots, grab your walking stick, pack some bug spray....and don't forget the water! You will get sketchy reception in some areas, but be patient and you will find everything. All geocaches are per park rules, usually within a few feet of the trail, and never requiring any damage to the flora or terrain. Please, do NOT bushwhack from one trail to the next.
