The best place to park your car is at the toilet block located at the police paddock. Walk across the road towards the old abandoned gasworks, you should be able to see a dirt track to the right of the gasworks. I have attached a photo of track below to make it easier. Make your way up the dirt track by foot (not car) to avoid attracting any unwanted attention.
Hi and welcome to this amazing geocache location. Are you ready for an adventure? This geocache is located at an abandoned bridge in Bathurst New South Wales Australia. The bridge was constructed in 1876 which makes this bridge 141 years old in 2017. This bridge was used to transport gas and coal to the gasworks opposite this bridge. There has been a newly constructed bridge left of this one - please avoid going anywhere near the new bridge and new railway tracks as they are still in operation and I would hate for anyone to be run over by a train LOL. Please stay to the right at all times. When you step onto the abandoned bridge keep to the right with feet on the steel walkway. Please be careful and mindful of your surroundings in this environment at all times.
