A cache that lays by a layby on the North-South Expressway (E1). Note that this cache is only available in the Southbound direction (i.e. towards Kuala Lumpur). Please do not cross the expressway on foot from the other side as it is both illlegal and highly dangerous.
We were on the way back from Ipoh and we had stop here for... you know, the usual reasons. Since there was some time to spare, I wandered off to plant a cache here to add to the growing number of caches on NSE lay-bys.
Behrang itself is an otherwise nondescript town in Southern Perak, just north of the Selangor border along the old Federal Route 1. It has a small railway station and surrounded by oil palm plantations. There was a development project, Behrang 2020, that was meant to spur development in the area, but that didn't take off, so the town remains as sleepy as it once was.
The cache is micro magnetic container placed in a well-guarded location. Muggles shouldn't be much of a problem, and you should be safe as long as stay off the road and passing vehicles.
