Near GZ you will find a bronze statue that honors renowned Canadian artist Emily Carr. The Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria commissioned the statue from sculptor Barbara Paterson and it was unveiled on October 13th, 2010. The statue features Emily Carr with her Javanese monkey Woo and her dog Billie.
