Gråkallbanen er verdens nordligste trikkelinje, og er en av Trondheims turistattraksjoner. Fra tid til annen kan man observere såkalte tram spotters langs trikkeskinnene. Trikken tar deg med fra St. Olavs gate i sentrum og opp til Lian i Bymarka for samme pris som en bussbillett. På turen får du med deg utsikten over Trondheim fra vest. Mange legger også turen videre inn i marka, eller innom restauranten, når man først er på Lian (NB! begrenset åpningstid - se www.lianrestaurant.no). For spesielle anledninger, er det mulig å leie veterantrikk. I sommersesongen er den gule og blå veterantrikken ofte på farten i forbindelse med cruiseanløp. Gråkallbanen is the tram closest to the North pole in the world. Is is one of Trondheims tourist attractions, and a trip from St. Olavsgate in the city center to this cache is highly recommended. You can also visit Lian restaurant for a Nice meal (chech opening hours at www.lianrestaurant.no). Lian tram station is also a good place to start if you want to hike in the Bymarka forest area.
